I have a passion for fashion! Everything about clothes, accessories, shoes and beauty is something I have enjoyed since I was a little girl. I hope to have my own boutique one day and live my dream of being a part of the fashion world. I have high hopes of going to New York City soon, this very well could be my version of heaven.
Being a college student, I don't always have the resources to keep up with my shopping habits so I've come up with a couple of tips. It's my own guide to being a frugal fashionista.
- Buy classic pieces, something that you could wear five years from now.
- Trendy items go out of style, hence why they are called trends. Buy a few pieces you love, but don't break the bank stocking up because in two months when ruby slippers are out of style, you won't be too upset that you spent so much. (Forever 21 is an awesome place to pick up trendy items for less!)
- STAPLES STAPLES STAPLES! Things like jeans, white camis, a pair of black slacks and a blazer are examples of staples. These are items every girl should have in her closet.
- Less is more! No matter what anyone tells you, letting your own personal beauty and personality shine through is the best accessory you could have. Of course, a cute handbag couldn't hurt!
