Tex-Mex Beatles
The Krayolas have "returned with a vengeance in the 21st century." They have been referred to as the Tex-Mex Beatles, mixing the sounds of horns and harmonica with American pop and rock and roll. The music is great! Now, you might be asking yourself, why is a 21-year-old girl talking about The Krayolas? Well I'm related to the them. The drummer, David Saldana, is my dad; and lead vocals, Hector Saldana, is my uncle. I have grown up with music and have a great appreciation for all genres. Check them out, I bet you'd enjoy the music too!
Since The Krayolas made their comeback in 2007, they have released seven CD's.
- Best Riffs Only
- Little Fox
- La Conquistadora
- Long Leaf Pine (No Smack Gum)
- The Krayolas Kollection
- Fruteria (The Fruit Cup Song)
- Americano
Ever since I was born my dad has been playing music, so I've always enjoyed being around it. Plus, there are a couple perks of being the daughter of a drum player too. Below is the music video to The Krayolas song "Fruiteria" with two special guests: Lily Bug and me. Check it out!
